- trek up the volcano, takes a bit of effort but anyone can do it. get a guide or go by yourself, bring a torch if you go early for sunrise. The boatman will show you the start of the path. When you get to the top make sure to mark where the trail is to get back down, otherwise you will be in for a full on jungle experience. there is a unique ecosystem of plants insects birds and animals up there so take of it and take your rubbish and plastic with you.
